One can always expect that street dates will be broken and a select few lucky turds will get copies of a game hours, days or even weeks in advance of its retail release. And that exact scenario has already played out as one lucky turd posted an image of his his super early copy of GTAIV that he probably obtained through questionable (illegal) means. Darn lucky turds. Oh, and to the lucky turd who's pictured, we have some advice for you. Upgrade to a Pro already and shave your console's mustache. The white bezel and facial hair just isn't doing it for us.

On 360voice.com if you are a registered member, as he is, you can make your own personalised blog entries - which is what he did here. This is FAKE. All Xbox 360 games released after 26th March 2008 have the new disc design.

I don't know a lot about 360voice.com but if you are a registered member, are you also able to add your own custom games to your "Played Games" list. Shows GTA IV along with about 80 other games in his Played Games list. Looks like he did more then just spoof a blog entry.

@netgem...
thats not how it works... if you signon to XBL, and you pop in a game, it will automatically register that game while you play... IF WHILE YOU PLAY THE GAME, you want to make your own entry it will read like this: "While GAMERTAG was playing GTAIV, he decided to say: hey this game is great".... thats how it works... this is no joke... He did not make his own entry...
If you go to the games played section of the site:
http://www.360voice.com/game.asp?game=GTA+IV
--you can see him registered on the actual game itself... So, you need to research a little more before stating how 360voice works :-)

Here's a vid for you.
Nobody would post a REAL GTAIV gameplay video because the "tag" is already spammed with so many fakes that it wouldn't even get any views.

No bagging on the guy because he has an Arcade unit. That's what I'm using now. I use my old hard drive from my Pro (which I gave to my nephews for Christmas), and it came with a wireless controller and happens to be a Falcon.
With a hard drive connected, the Arcade has nothing to differentiate it from the Pro (except for the drive tray cover being white instead of chrome, which I happen to think looks better anyway.) The guts are the same as the Elite or Pro.
Why should I have spent $349 for a Pro when I could get a newer Arcade for $279 and just slap my hard drive on it? My nephews didn't need a hard drive (they aren't allowed on Live) and they're happy with the memory card.
The only negative is that the Arcade has a louder DVD drive. My Pro had the BenQ, and I miss it.
I'd buy a new Xbox just to get one that doesn't make so much noise when a disc is spinning.

Fake. If this guy is from the UK, why does the picture have a ESRB Rating on it?

I call hack/fake -- notice he's the ONLY one who's gotten it. How could he have a broken street date, but nobody else does? Also:
http://profile.mygamercard.net/Powderblue%20Kes
Note that GTA 4 does not appear anywhere in his played list. And, as a previous poster pointed out, he clearly lives in the UK yet is "playing" an ESRB-rated game. Lots of inconsistencies...

Looks like a dvd label on a 360 disc to me. The edges of label don't look right to me.

I bet the PS3 version will look better with a better picture. Also, I think that PS3 will have DLC, because R* has not yet denied it.

Not saying that it couldn't or anything but why would you guess the PS3's version is going to look better when every multi-platform has looked worse on the PS3 so far?
And also I doubt the PS3 is going get any DLC since MS has already spent so much money keeping it exclusive

whether or not this is a fake, which it probably is, the fact that it's an NTSC disc being used by someone in the UK doesn't necessarily mean that it's not legit, he could be using a US console or something of that sort. Perhaps he bought a core system as they where cheap and he could hack it open and muck about with it so it can play NTSC disc whilst his proper system sits happily with it's warrant, but who knows, speculations ahoy. Furthermore the fact he's only played this game for 1 day since having it and not unlocking any achievements suggest to me that either he is a very poor gamer or else was attacked by someone who found out he had GTA IV early and stole it from him.
Personally the fact that it's a ridiculous disc image bothers me little as it'll probably get a cursory glance when the game arrives at my door and then will spend most of its time spinning very quickly inside my xbox where noone will get to see it and even if they could it'd just be a blur.
