In mid-February Capcom put a poll on their official site asking the community how much they'd be willing to pay, either $10 or $15, for the HD remake of Bionic Commando. Last Friday, Capcom dropped word that a whopping (and unsurprising) 83% of voters preferred a $10 price-point for the upcoming release and they would abide by the community's demands. While making the announcement, game producer Ben Judd said that more than a few gamers said they were willing to even more for HD bionic-arm action. " A majority were suggesting they would pay $15 or even $20 for the game," Judd wrote in the announcement post on the Bionic Commando Rearmed community blog. At a $10 price-point, Bionic Commando Rearmed is looking more and more like a must-buy when it hits Xbox Live Arcade and the PlayStation Network.

IMO, there haven't been a ton of good XBLA games recently, but that'll change when this, Assault Heroes 2, 1942, Vigilante 8 and a few other games are released.

Excellent! This will be the 2nd game I purchased on XBL. $10 is a steal based on the videos Ive seen so far. I also plan on buying the Lode Runner remake.

Can anybody tell me whether I should buy on XBLA or the PSN version, and why? I like both controllers about the same, and don't much care about my gamerscore. I guess the PS3 version will work on up to 5 PS3s, or something? I don't have a lot of gamer friends, though, so I'm not sure that matters either. I have an unused MS point card, but can probably find other uses for it. Any reason to lean one way or the other?

I haven't heard any thing that would make one version better than the other. I'd go with whichever system you have more friends online that will play co op with you.

CO-OP is only local. No online CO-OP sadly. The developers excuse was that they wanted have the old school feel of playing CO-OP while sitting next to your friend.

lol thats a lame excuse. I hope these developers realize that games which do offer co-op over live ALSO offer local co-op. Their excuse makes them sound like they dont know how to code both in, but only 1 or the other.
