Not sure if this is related, but on the PS3 version of COD4 both regions were disconnected a long time because the differences in time required for certification, UT3 is not playable either between regions because the EU version is a more recent build of the game (We are waiting for a patch).

I think we will see this more frequently because online games commonly requires to be all the gamers at the same level, and EU certification is really more difficult because there are different languages and laws to consider. I hope something like this will not become the norm "do not bother with cross region play because it is difficult to be in sync with the versions"

When I imagine how to implement multiplayer, it's all related to data being exchanged that gets drawn on each screen by each 360. I wouldn't think that the exchanged data contained more than WHERE someone needed to be drawn, not at what scanline Hz rate that character should be drawn.

Must be multiplayer is harder than I imagined...

This game is GARBAGE!!! I was so pissed off after the first day I got it.

Controls suck
The way the characters move suck
Those damn loading screens suck
Online sucks
EA servers SUCK!
I thought the graphics were good then I popped Gears in and damn, they arent up to snuff
Hit detection sucks
Did I mention those damn loading screens?
Dragging your partner sucks
Online textures are horrible
AI partner is ass
etc etc etc!!!

Damnit Dark Sector you better not let me down in 2 weeks!

They mentioned this in multiple interviews. If I remember right, they said it was supposed to help reduce the number of laggy games. I also remember some of the brits were excited because they said they were "tired of the yanks and their big mouths". :)

It would be cool if I could play the EU game and get double the ch33v0z.

Well that's a bit of a letdown. Though not that surprising from EA, seems they are always missing something rather crucial to some gamers.

I decided i'll be waiting till this game drops in price anyway before I pick it up.

Fenix is a tad down on this game. I don't know HOW you could think the dragging your partner mechanic sucks! That's one of the best things in the game, when you are down you can defend yourself. Freakin' awesome... I guess some prefer to be on all fours and huff and puff( gears of war).

As far as the PAI goes, he's only screwed up a couple of times. No more than Dom in GOW, and he can freakin' heal you unlike GOW or R6V.

The graphics aren't bad, at all... all you have to do is look at it.

I guess either you love it or hate it, and when you hate it... you really hate it. :)

Well the dragging isn't so bad at first I thought it was cool but it is a bit clunky, don't lie. The melee sucks big tyme. It never works properly. I also don't like how online you have these AI shooting at you. Why didn't they just really do 2 vs 2??

Like I said I thought the graphics were good but for a game that just came out I would think they would be on par you know what I mean?

Character designs are sweet
Different masks
Sound
Playing it with a buddy only! NOT AI
