Video: Coulton performs Rock Band DLC 'Still Alive'
Our Joystiq pals just posted a video of Jonathan Coulton's Friday night performance of (recently announced as Rock Band DLC) "Still Alive" at San Francisco's Great American Music Hall. Coulton brought a few folks on stage including tech guy Leo Laporte and Mahalo's Veronica Belmont to participate in the "Still Alive" performance. Their Rock Band skills are lukewarm at best, but we get the general idea and can't wait to sing to "Still Alive" from the comforts of our Rock Band setup at home. And in even more exciting news, Joystiq got a chance to chat with a few Harmonix employees who attended the concert and learned that currently (though subject to change) the "Still Alive" DLC single will be downloadable for $.99. For that price, no true Rock Band'er or Portal'er should be without GLaDOS' mega-hit.

I think that was Veronica on guitar. She had to save the Leo (On Bass) a few times.

Im pretty sure they were set up in accordance to their parts on screen, so veronica was on bass and leo was on drums.
Anyways, totally looking forward to this song. a lot

Yes, I was on guitar on medium, and my part was on the right hand side of the screen. It was unfortunate placement on the stage :)

I loved Portal, but that doesn't seem like a fun Rock Band song at all.

You have to take into account what levels these people are probably playing at.
Veronica on guitar- Probably Hard.
Leo on bass- Definitely Easy.
Dude on Drums- Probably easy.
Jonathan- ...? that one's tough to figure out, I mean, he did write (and produce?) the song. :|

.99 cents? Tell me that I don't have to use my credit card and that you just wrote .99 cents to make it easy.

So Veronica was surprisingly good to go with her good looks, Leo sucked huge balls and the drummer had no rhythm what so ever.

Leo's a busy guy. He probably didn't have a lot of time to practice.

Did you not play the game? The song was amazing and very funny. The song is kind of like a inside joke, its not funny if you do not understand the joke or in this case have not played the game.

That girl had a faulty guitar. RB peripherals are total crap, I had 2 guitar replacements and a drumset replacement within a couple weeks of each other and it wasn't even played maybe an hour a day.
