You know, we'd expect this type of paid cheat code content from EA (since they have a rather lengthy track record for doing it), but funny thing is that Transformers: The Game is published by ... Activision. We guess since they've reach EA's publishing scale post Vivendi merger they've also decided to adopt EA's XBLM business strategies. Bad Acti, go to your room and think about what you're doing. You're grounded!

Worst part, I had over half the game done, to have the game crash and ruin my save file, which means I would have to go through it all again to finish it all, when I complained about it to them, they told me there was nothing they could do, including a code or something to open the game back up where it should be, and even my achievments showed. Funny, now they are selling my solution. I liked the game, and the license of course, but I dont know whether I can stand to pay to download a fix for their problem, or not... Its really crappy of them.

I hope this isnt going to be a trend. EA should spend less time trying to figure out how to get money for nothing and more time debugging and finishing their games.

Yeah I enjoyed the offer to use points to repair and purchase my cars in Need for Speed: Prostreet.

I wish MS would just ban this shit already. For any additional money they'd get out of it (which is likely negligible for this game in particular), they lose more in terms of publicity and consumer positivity simply by association to this sort of junk.
If they can make it a rule that companies can't charge for additional content that was free elsewhere, then they should make it a rule not to charge for things you could otherwise get for free by playing the game itself.

Um... if I understand correctly, you do get all that stuff by just playing the game. This, like the EA unlock codes, is provided for those among us that are lazy and have too much money on-hand.

If they're gonna charge us for dlc, can they do something useful like make more characters playable? Activision pieces of Sh*t...

Amen, brother! Has there even been a title update in the history of EA? I played Nascar08, Madden 08 and NBA live 08 over the break and they were riddled with lockups, poor design and still lacking features that were in the last-gen versions.

I don't get why this bothers people. If you don't want it, don't buy it. Problem solved.

Hey, don't get mad at Activision, they're just trying to make a buck, and it's not like you have to buy it. If you need someone to be angry at, how about everyone who've bought codes like this? THEY'RE the one's encouraging companies to continue selling codes. If it wasn't profitable to do so, I doubt EA or Activision would even bother...

$6.25 for a cheat code? Whatever happened to just entering up, up, down, down, left, right.......
I do agree with jduke. If you don't want it, don't buy it. End of story.

Would that mean that if a person buys this, he basically buys 1000 gamerscore? 'Cos that'd be pretty annoying for us who actually spent their time trying to find all those cubes in this mediocre movie-spinoff..
