Alright, New Year's Day hangovers are (mostly) taken care of now, so it's time for 2008 to officially begin. We've already dispensed with our best games of 2007. Now it's time to look forward. We are speaking, of course, of the most anticipated games of 2008. It's hard to imagine that 2007 could be trumped, but we're more than willing to be proven wrong. This year promises some serious gaming goodness from the likes of Ninja Gaiden II, Halo Wars, Condemned 2, the next Banjo-Kazooie, Alan Wake, Grand Theft Auto IV, Silent Hill V, and a host of others. And let's not forget the unofficial releases like the next installment of Gears of War.
The truth is, there are so many games headed our way, we're bound to forget some. We're going to need some help keeping up with them all. So, our question to you: what games are you looking forward to the most in 2008? Let your opinions be known in the comments below. And don't forget, if you find some tasty info about a game your looking forward to, send it to our tips line. Happy 2008 everyone, let's make it a good year.

4 rings means the vid cable came out, 3 means its fried. Did you use wrong info or did u return a working xbox?
Also, Silent Hill V is what I want - good horror games are needed.

Video problems: 1 "ring" or flashing LED (what's used for the 4th player, bottom right) = e74, that's a bad video cable too (or bad GPU) My box gives me that every few times I try to load it, haven't 3 red ringed on THIS one yet though.
4 just means it wasn't detected to be plugged in.
...just throwing it out there :-)

Oh, heh... maybe he did mean that he got a 4-red-lights error, but I had assumed it was a typo for "4th red ring" of death -- as in the 4th time his console bricked. Given the state of things, I wouldn't be at all surprised.
My second RRoD came this past Monday, just as the Live troubles were winding up: a fine little kick in the crotch after a slap in the face. I mean, don't get me wrong, my 360 has probably seen the most play time out of the three new-gen consoles I own, but holy crap their hardware quality is terrible. Good thing I have a couple of Wii and PS3 games to tide me over for the next few weeks...

It wasnt the cable. i went out and bought one. It's the console. and sure enough it was exactly the 53rd week when it crapped out on me so that's outside the warranty for 4 rings. So for $99 repair bill Microsoft is giving me a 1 year warranty (though it wont break again until the week after) and one month of free XBOX Live (which Im losing anyways while it's off for repairs.) Has anyone else bought anything for $400 that has been so unreliable? If this were washingmachines or cars then Congress wouldve held hearings quite awhile ago!

I was going to suggest Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I was hoping for the sequel the instant I completed it, and I was so happy when it was announced officially.
R6V2 FTW

I don't really have much on the radar for the 360 in '08 yet. About the only things on the list right now are Spore for PC and Little Big Planet for PS3.

I'm hoping Lost Odyssey will be a true FF XIII challenger, hopefully, a really good JRPG is presently the only reason I still break out the PS2!

I dont know how it was on Xbox but when I played Rainbow Six the voice commands were mapped to a button but the voice commands system in End War actually recognize what you are saying and move accordingly which makes movement in RTS games viable on the console
