The 360 Wireless Racing Wheel peripheral previously retailed for $129 (before that $149) and now, with a $30 price drop and plastic that doesn't start on fire, the wheel is ready to take over PGR, Forza and NASCAR fans' living rooms. Then again, this racing wheel bundle has been discounted at retailers for the past few months and, in some cases, selling for even less than $99. But who cares, it's an official price drop and if Microsoft says a $99 Wireless Racing Wheel is a good deal then darnit, you're obligated to buy. That's just how it works around here. Vroom!

Lame, I spent $130 on it. I think it's very much worth it, though. I'm not as good with it as I am with a controller, but it's a hell of a lot more fun.

The wheel rocks, period. Its very realistic and you will shave a ton of time off of your races with it.

Well don't take it as gospel truth, but it's what I've been told (including from some other chains). I don't know WHAT the holdup is though - you'd think they'd've been able to get them back into retail by now!

They have to strip them from parts that could be used to make a bomb, we are fighting a war on terror. Think of it as the stripped down F-16s we sold Iran.

It's called sarcasm - look into it.
While it's great news that they're finally lowering the price, you'd think they could get some new stock onto store shelves before Christmas. This was originally on my list of things to get before I discovered the recall and the smoking problems with the wheel.
Granted, that adds just another level of realism to Forza. "Damn, I hit the wall and my car is smoking really bad... and look, now the wheel's on fire too!"

Are the pedals just not pictured? If it does include pedals then I'm all over this as soon as it's in stock someplace.

The problem with the wheel is if you want to drift in any game you most likely need to use the 'A' button.
