There's something just a little off about seeing men in go-karts looking so damned serious. What is not off is the fact that the above screenshot was taken from an Xbox Live Arcade game. For an Xbox Live Arcade game (hell, for a 360 game), the screens look amazing. The game in question is Kart Attack from Blimey Games. The game features go-kart racing both on and offline, and that's about all we know about it really. Perusing the Blimey Games website, it looks like they know what they're doing when it comes to racing games, having created GTR 2, which boasts a Metacritc average of 92. Color us excited.

I bet this turns out to be one of the best Live enabled XBLA games ever.

GTR2 was supposed to come to the 360 and got canceled, which still kind of upsets me.
I hope this turns out, could be a lot of fun.

Hrmmm.... color me excited as well.
XBLA could use more games like this. Now I just hope that this product from "Blimey" games doesn't turn out to be total "rubbish."

You know, I have to wonder why no one has seriously attempted a Mario Kart clone on XBLA yet. It seems like such a no-brainer. Mad Tracks didn't really capture it and this seems to be going in another direction.
Someone sign up for XNA and make it.

Not saying it is or anything but, I'll bet this game will release after a memory increase allowence for the developers in the arcade. I doubt it'll fit with the current 150 meg limit. Looks, impressive.
