Alright, let's get this out of the way. There are two games hitting the Xbox 360 this week. Those games are NCAA March Madness 2008 (wait, it's December, isn't it?) and Madden NFL Football 08 Español. So, if football is your thing, maybe you've got something to be happy about. Us, though, we're just a tad envious of the Playstation 3 this week. Those lucky Sony lovers can get their hands on Unreal Tournament III this week. So, congrats PS3 fanboys, you got one over on us this week. Enjoy it while you can. We guess we'll just have to go back to playing Mass Effect. Or Assassin's Creed. Or The Orange Box. Or Call of Duty 4. Or Rock Band. Or Halo 3. You know, come to think of it, we suppose we can wait a little longer for UTIII.

How can epic stab the 360 in the back like this? Gears was a huge hit and all of the technology for this game was developed from Gears for the 360, so why isn't it at least a multi-platform release on day 1?

From what I've been hearing on various gaming podcasts, magazines, and websites is that Unreal Tournament III isn't the best shooter of the year by far and looks only a tiny bit better than Gears of War. I enjoyed Unreal Tournament 2004 for about a month, then moved on and from what I hear about this game, it's pretty much the same way. Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 (and TF2!) multiplayer will last much longer, despite this classically multiplayer game's heritage.

Sony ponied up money to have the release first. Why do you feel stabbed for? If i were to have two people come to you with Cake, but one of them were offering cake AND money, which one would you take?
? yea I thought so. Hate MS for not giving up the money. not Epic for taking it the cake (and the said money)
(i'm sorry for the rant, but I get irate when people swear up and down that companies should stay loyal to customers/consoles and not money...that's just plain silly)

What's funny Chaunches is that it took me a while to figure out what you meant by "frame rate effect" as it's not really noticeable when playing the game. You've obviously not played it and just gone by what you've read in the reviews. I for one, while being a 360 fan, can't devy the power of the PS3. It's truly a beautiful piece of hardware (except for the controller, that this is a big POS). Though i can't help but hate Sony and I refuse to give them money.

Your reasons for hating Sony are your own, but the consensus amongst most Sony haters (typically XBox lovers) seems to be that Sony is some evil corporation that everyone hates because of their arrogance and greed.
What I don't understand, and would love an explanation on, is what XBox lovers consider Microsoft. Are they not equally arrogant and as greedy as Sony?
Isn't Microsoft the corporation that released the same Windows OS with different coats of paint on it for the past 10-12 years, and charged $100 each time?
Aren't they the company that released a console that was clearly not ready for market (RRoD), just so they could get a head start on Sony and Nintendo?
Don't read this post the wrong way...I love my 360 games. But I never feel good about giving Microsoft any money.

If you believe Resistance, Motorstorm, Heavenly Sword, Ratchet & Clank, Uncharted, Warhawk, and even UT3, are "little tiny bips!", clearly you've never played any of 'em. The PS3's lineup is not great by any means, but unless you own one too, you'd think differently.
