Progressive rock band Dream Theater will be taking combat to the skies this week as they're scheduled for some Game with Fame old-school
Crimson Skies: High Road to Revenge style. From 5-7:00PM eastern this Wednesday, December 5th the entire Dream Theater crew will be on Xbox Live supporting the new Xbox Originals download service playing
Crimson Skies multiplayer and possibly some other games too. Make the jump for complete details, band gamertags, send off a few friend requests and play Wednesday night.
Crimson Skies and Dream Theater, it's like chocolate and peanut butter ... or something like that.

Chocolate and peanut butter...isn't that how CliffyB related the chainsaw option in Gears of War? I think it might have been because I cringed when I read that. He played that phrase out!

Does anyone still play Crimson Skies? I might go pick it up again. And by that I mean buy it. I enjoy having an actual copy of the game, and still not paying 15 dollars for it. I know that Trixie on xbox.com says that "the cool thing about it is you don't have to mess with discs," but I guess I'm just not that cool. I enjoy actually owning a copy of the game. Guess I'm old fashioned. Or shes retarded.

dead in the water, just like Shadowrun, and every other FASA Studio IP.

Yep and only you and Microsoft are to blame. "You" for not getting passed the silly fanboy reviews about it not being like the pen & paper rpg(which FASA made by the way) and Microsoft for not pushing their product or even advertising it at all, all that money went to promote Halo 3 which was a watered down MP experience compared to Shadowrun.

It is funny that Microsoft would ditch FASA studies like a dime store hooker considering how FASA made the first xbox live games and set the templete down for future games to come, not to mention their games are what introduced people to xbox live(being bundled with free trials or as much as a year subscription).

@ Doc
Xbox Originals are a direct port of the original games. No new features.

A Crimson Skies sequel would be great on the 360.

Does the Xbox originals version of Crimson Skies connect to the same servers as a Crimson Skies disc being run over backwards compatibility?

How about some Dream Theater tracks for Guitar Hero II or III? I'd pay good money for DT pack featuring "Metropolis: Part 1", "Learning to Live" or "Lie".

Lie would be great! So would Glass Prison or Home. They should throw in some Liquid Tension as well.
