More games, more games, more games. It's getting ridiculous at this point, isn't it? Even if you find yourself in the enviable position of being able to afford all these games, now on earth could you find time to play them all? Ah, well, it's not like they're going to stop anytime soon, so we'd best just get on with it, hmm? Without further ado, here are the Xbox 360 games that are shipping this week:
This week is all about action and adventure. We've got jets, monsters, barbarians, and a voluptuous archaeologist that makes Indiana Jones look like a sack of potatoes. Just remember kids, real archaeology is about cleaning off pebbles with a brush. Pebbles. So, you're probably better off with Lara.

Ace was a bitch in that demo. How the hell do you see the enemies? That shits too small.

If I put Tomb Raider back in, maybe I can finally get past that dragon in the pool...

I'd have been interested in Jericho, but it's got a bunch of those stupid "match the button presses at the right time" mini-games, and that's just stupid. It's a FPS. If I wanted a button-timing/matching game, I'd pick up Parappa the Rapper.
I knew Jericho wasn't for me when I played the demo and had to watch the same cutscene 5 times in a row before I matched their stupid button indicators flashing on the screen the right way (the problem? One of the button indicators flashed in a section of the screen where the color of the button blended in with the action on the screen, and I just didn't see it.)
No thanks. Love Barker's work, but this is poor execution.
Conan was a typical side-scrolling beat-em-up. Pass.
Ace Combat 6 seems OK, but I'm getting sick of their fake world and them thinking I give a shit about their storytelling. I miss the old Wing Commander games every time I play Ace Combat.
Tomb Raider. Gah. More of the same from Ms. Croft. No thanks. `Finished three of them, don't need to do it anymore.

For someone who's never played Tomb Raider, is this game worth it?

@7
if worth it at all, its probably more worth it for someone who hasn't played it before because it might at least bring something new for them.

id get ace combat but i dont think i can justify a $160 or whatever charge on my credit card to my parents. $60 every now and then is acceptable and easily sneaks in but man do i want this game with the flight sticks.

Foggy, be happy you don't have to pay for your games. I'm having trouble keeping up with my tuition for university because of how many games there are coming out.

WOW. Ace Combat 6 got an 8.1 on ign. which surprised me. so i might have to pick that up. and Jericho got an 8.0 on IGN-UK. but they said it was short and not much replayability. so i'll probably pick up Ace Combat 6 before Jericho.

One thing that bugs me with AC series is that all the planes have like 60 missiles. I know you need them to make the game more interesting, but it has always bugged me.
