Completing one of the coolest case mods we've seen in a long while, ghostavel over at the Xbox-Scene forums showcased his latest project ... the Xbox Mini. As you can see in the picture above, the Xbox Mini is a super condensed form of the original Xbox designed after Apple's Mac Mini and features a built-in wireless adapter and beefier 80GB hard drive. You can check out more pictures of the Xbox Mini after the break and you'll see that this mini console is one beauty all right. It's so darn pretty that we get all misty eyed looking at it.
[Thanks, Josh]

I can't wait to see a mini 360. Hopefully Microsoft will support it longer than the original Xbox.

i'm sure ms will support a redesigned/slimmed-down 360 in the future pending the release of the xbox 420 or whatever we'll see. ms will have much more of an install base to work with and will have to worry less about winning over playstation users. the main reason the xbox was killed so brutally was to get the 360 moving and in the hot-spot.

no disc drive, but no prob, just need a pc to 'back up' the games u already legally own, then transfer them to the large hard drive in the box, then play em from there :)
hey ms should make a 360 console like this, without the disc drive, and therefore smaller and sexier, but with a large HD in it.. then allow for online distribution or something, of games. for those ppl with no or crap internet access, they can take it to a games store or something and have them load games onto it from a specially designed machine! lol that sounds nooby, but couldnt be bothered to elaborate..

My friends, it was a portuguese mooder who made this Xbox case and it will not be available on worldwide market as I know, this only for his personal usage. Great job my portuguese brother and it was good if he could do the same to my 360 =P

Theres got to be some kind of external power supply, wonder what that looks like.No controller ports, gotta have those.Just a board and an 80 GB HD.He should of put a monster HD in it,or maybe have a seperate mod case for the rom drive just incase you want to hook it up.Awesome job tho love the case would love to see more pics and how it was made would be sweet.

Holy crap...
All it needs is built-in IR sensor with remote power on and maybe a built-in standard USB port or two and this is the ultimate XBMC machine.
I would pay big bucks for a modkit like this.
