So, we decided to do a little research and found out via Codemasters' community admin Rubbergenius that indeed the game has been delayed for unspoken reasons and that no firm release is in site. According to the community admin's post, they have taken down the tentative "Summer 2007" Sensible World of Soccer release date and replaced it with a uber vague "TBD" release. Rubbergenius promises that the game shouldn't be delayed for "months and months", but made sure to shoot down the late September release rumors that have been floating around. Oh so evil game delays, don't you see how much you hurt us?

Yep I turned on my xbox on August 29th and was teased with the title Sensible World of Soccer and all there was was an HD trailer - needless to say I was gutted. But I suppose Bioshock will keep me busy with replays and good things do come to those who wait!

maybe they are trying to correct the title to sensible football.

Yeah, it's a sickener, but it'll be along soon enough, just can't say a definite date at the moment.
And T3H WICKERMAN, we'd never change the title to 'Sensible Football', yes soccer is more of an Americanism, but 'Sensible Soccer' is a classic title and not one we'd ever dare think about tinkering with...

Hi GUYS n GIRLS,
I also was desperate to see this release up and running and as already mentioned above viewed the hd trailer which i guess was some small consolation but if an hd trailer was put out instead of the game would it be to much to have added a little apology for the delay and a promise to keep us updated,a little common curtesy goes a long way as i am sure many of the people looking out for this game would be from the say slightly older generation.sorry for the winge!
