Call of Juarez demo shoots up XBLM

Along with the unexpected double dose of Xbox Live Arcade we received today, a demo for Call of Juarez has hit Xbox Live Marketplace as well. Debuting at retail earlier this summer, Call of Juarez is a western that tasks the player with playing both an outlaw and the man sworn to catch him. Undoubtedly the game's coolest feature: reading from the Bible to terrify your enemies. Give Call of Juarez a go and tell us what you think.

1. Not a bad game, can become boring and repetetive at times though.

2. Thats cool. I always wanted to try this one out. Maybe this demo signals a coming drop to the discount bin for it?

3. At #1, it's a shooter right? Well yeah, all you do is shoot things so I'd imagine so.

Anyway this is the game that came out along side Shadowrun and got raped by the press for what it wasn't as well.

4. I always thought Gears multiplayer would be better if when you downed a person they could hear you speak, then you could read versus of the bible to them before you kill em Pulp Fiction style.

5. Half of the game you played a character so feeble and lame, he made Raiden look like Bruce Campbell. His levels mostly focused on crappy jumping puzzles a la the original Halflife, and trying to "sneak around" farmers to steal their stuff. "Sneak around" is code for "sit around staring at the TV, bored as all Hell for forty seconds at a time, while you wait for the idiot AI to do its patrol." Such a horrible game, thank God I only rented it.

6. I will definitely NOT be buying this game...

7. The game sucks anyway, since the demo is out, less people will buy it because it just blows...

8. better than two worlds

maybe when they make their sequel, three worlds, they won't forget to send a copy early to reviewers and remember to keep up with current gen

9. WOW, i was thinking i might download the demo but after these reviews, i'll save the bandwidth for torrents.

10. So, this game came out awhile back, sold like ass, and finally the developers or someone said, maybe we should throw a demo of it up on the marketplace. Pathetic, they should have done this a month before the game was released.
