After playing the demo 8 times, reading all the reviews and your little "giveaway," you've officially increased the hype-o-meter.

ONLY for Xbox 360 in terms of consoles.

I've been an avid follower of this site and Joystiq for quite a long time now. However, I rarely ever feel the need to comment on a story because I'm not generally interested in being involved in the flame wars that often occur.
I don't take offense at the many comments I've seen from people saying only frequent commenters should be eligible for contests. However, I just want to remind you and others that there are plenty of people like me who DO follow these sites regularly but don't often comment. We don't need to be in the vocal minority to be a supporter. :)
(And yes, I'm also aware that there are plenty of people who ONLY come to these sites when they hear of a giveaway. But, what can you do, right?)

I know there are users like that, only thing that pisses me off is that regular posts there are only a couple comments, while with the slightest chance that people might get something free, BOOM there's an explosion and comments go through the roof.
I would really be interested in seeing how many people signed up within HOURS of the contest being announced...

After playing the Bioshock demo, I went back to finish The Darkness ...ouch.
Bioshock is what Starbreeze wished they could've delivered. Despite the nice presentation, The Darkness is an uneven, over-ambitious mess in comparison.
(Not to mentioned the annoying controls, slowdown, and uninspired ending...enough shooting-out light bulbs already!)
Had I not played the Bioshock demo, I might've given The Darkness a 9.0, but the bar has been raised so high I'd give it a 7.5 now... anyone else?

Dude, you can just tap L with the demon arm equipped and it shatters the lights in like a second.
I LOVED the Darkness. The story was awesome and the gameplay was innovative.
BioShock will be better, for sure, but don't trade in your copy of The Darkness for Madden (ugh..) just yet.
