Video: Turok deals out dinosaur death

We ran across this gameplay video and just had to share it with you guys to get your opinion. The video above is an in-game Turok demo with dinosaurs, knives, and intriguing kill animations. Speaking of those killing animations, we totally love how visceral they feel and the sheer brutality of them, but we are a little on the fence about how they could potentially interrupt gameplay. Who knows, maybe those third person killing scenes are timed as such they won't interfere all that much seeing that the game has a stealth feel to it. Give the Turok gameplay a good watch and share your opinion.

21. Well, plus GT5 sure isn't coming this year either. I'm not positive about some of the others. I'm not sure why we all have to be reminded of this constantly on a 360-centric site though.

22. Here's an idea... Ignore him.

On topic, I've never really like the Turok franchise but after watching this video I'm pretty excited to get my hands on it. It presents a good mix of stealth gameplay and action gameplay. I for one like the 3rd person kill sequences since it gives you a chance to see your character in action. Its boring when all you ever see on screen is your hands holding a weapon.

23. Sony Ownz has to post on a 360 board cause he ain't got no games to play. Well besides sitting in a corner jerking his controller. Ha, Ha what a loser. Now back to the game, I like how it goes to 3rd person and then cuts back to first, I'd like to see that in more games.

24. Looks pretty badass. I think i'll get this.

When's the release date for this ?

25. I think it looks like it will be pretty entertaining. I like how there seems to be no aiming reticule, it looks as though you just use the tracers from the bullets to aim. Will it be a blockbuster prolly not, but it will be a good game to get off of gamefly when it drops to 30 bucks.

As far as all of the exclusive talk goes it seems to me that so far this generation most 3rd party games will only be exclusive by a set number of months. 1st party games will be what drives people to own a set console, which in my opinion really isn't a bad thing.

26. This demo really did not impress me at all and made me loose faith in a game that actually was looking pretty good to me beforehand.

Did any1 else notice that when he pulled out the knife and preformed a kill, nano seconds later there was absolutly no and I mean NO Blood on the knife at all? This level of detail is expected for this generation of gamming, especially if U are going to make me pump in my age to watch the trailer of it....Childsplay.

27. Big Ed you missed Fable 2, and not forgetting the $50 million exclusive content Microsoft paid for on GTAIV

FFS WHY ARE SO MANY FUCKING SONY FANBOYS ON HERE
YOU HAVE YOUR CONSOLE WE HAVE OURS
PISS OFF
infact i have both
although there is nothing to do on my ps3
and i wont buy any of the exclusives apart from mgs4. i will wait for Unreal Tournament on my 360 cos the multilayer will be a lot better
and might i add unless the game play on killzone has been completely overhauled+everything that ruined the first one is gone.. killzone 2 is gonna suck

28. I thought Turok was a dinosaur hunter?? I didn't see one dinosaur killed. Looks like another lame FPS if you ask me.
