5. hahahahaha!!!! Manvir your a tool!!! the ps3 version of DIRT has been confirmed as being the best version of DIRT to date, and to quote the chief developer of codemasters "it looks fantastic compared to the 360 version AND WILL HAVE A BETTER FRAMERATE"
its a shame really how you 3fixme lovers will no longer have any valid arguments against the ps3 after this fall when we get...oooo wait for it....HAZE AND UNREAL TOURNAMENT, SIX MONTHS BEFORE YOU!!!! The tides are turning my friends!!!! looks like every game thats out on 360 WILL look better on ps3!!! OH well at least you will still have halo to keep you happy!!!

Posted at 4:41PM on Jul 12th 2007 by cj

9. @5

Seriously guy...no.

Just...no.

PS3 gets some games before the 360! Whatever shall I do?! I guess I'll have to just stick with having to play Halo 3, Blue Dragon, BioShock, Two Worlds, GTA IV, The Orange Box, Eternal Sonata, and Beautiful Katamari for those 6 months waiting to get those games...

10. Army of 2 looks pretty awesome. the heal thing is kinda cool, but people aren't shooting you when you do this?

Simpsons is added to the must have now. That makes 10 games to get at the end of the year. Goddamn it!

seriously dude all you peeps constantly use GTA as one of the games you will be playing but guess what... its out on ps3 at the same time so thats hardly valid!!! Also i will be playing bioshock too...ON MY PC, which hardly makes that any more of a valid argument!!! As for halo 3 i think that it is the only worthwhile game coming to 360 this year and also PGR 4!!! So im sorry to break the news to you all but history IS repeating itself!!! sony is going to beat to 360, however if the wii fad doesnt fade away quickly, nintendo may just win this one!!!

Posted at 5:05PM on Jul 12th 2007 by cj

13. DiRT will only look better on the PS3 because while the art team have longer to touch up the graphics, since it's taking the programmers so long to port the engine across.

Need I point out the whole... three american football games running at 60fps on the 360, and 30fps on the PS3, while looking the same?

Posted at 5:13PM on Jul 12th 2007 by Sean

14. Good news CJ! Maybe you can find some people to play with now since PS3 had to lower it's price to keep up. How many months after launch was that?

Whatever, I and every Xbox360 owner is very satisfied with their console. The same cannot be said for you, most of your games are not even coming out this year! LOL have fun twiddling your thumbs ;)

GOW right now, then I'll be busy next month with Bioshock, then Halo 3, then shit I have to buy GTA4 (you too remember?), crap PG4 too, Mass Effect in November, Orange Box anyone? Crap I just don't know if I'll have enough time to play all these videogames! Not too mention there's still more but you get the point ;)

15. @13
i agree totally with you, that probably is the reason, but the main thing is Sony are sitting down with programmers now and are showing them how to make it look better, so once sony has shown them all how to do it, this will no longer be a problem!!!
i will give kudos to MS though for releasing the Elite, as trust me on this one, using HDMI IN GAMING makes all the difference!!!

16. @14
if you add together ,on top of the price of the 360, the accessories needed to make it equal to the hardware in the ps3, (hd-dvd drive, wireless receiver and plus what you pay for live), it adds up alot more that the ps3!!!
Also out of the games you mentioned, only mass effect and halo 3 are Totally exclusive to the 360!!! All the other games you mentioned are coming out on other formats!!
All fanboyism aside i do think that hal;o 3 and pgr 4 do look like great games! also i would just like to state that before ps3, i used to own a 360 and i thought gears of war really did set the standard, but what really made the decisive factor in me buying a ps3 was that i was on my third 360, all of which gave me the red ring of death!! microsoft were extremely slow in fixing them so i thought enough is enough and i bought a ps3 due to most games are coming out on it that are on 360!! but like i said i will miss playing halo and pgr along with gears

17. @9

you are such a moron, as much as the guy you were making fun of in the first place. when you are bragging about your system you cant mention games like gta4 and orange box when those are goin to PS3 too.

and even tho i could care less about RPG's I can safely say more people will care about FFXIII then they will about eternal sonata and blue dragon.

and if you wanna get in a game naming game any PS3 fan can easily say:

lair, heavenly sword, uncharted, ratchet and clank, MGS4, killzone 2, FFXIII, white knight story, oblivion has better graphics then 360, dirt is better then on 360 (even tho motorstorm is better then dirt anyways), gran turismo 5, warhawk, socom, pain, echo chrome, little big planet, eye of judgement, wipeout, and on and on...

Posted at 5:43PM on Jul 12th 2007 by sirpilf

18. @14 maybe you should check the release schedule, because PS3 has many big games coming out this year exclusive to PS3, many i listed above.

Posted at 5:46PM on Jul 12th 2007 by sirpilf

19. oh yea like gears of war was the first game to ever use cover haha, but yea I linked my friend to the video and he noticed the tampon too.

and many games used cover similar to gears of war before gears did, like killswitch, the game just sucked and gears didnt haha.
