It's been said by many people for months now: 2007 looks to be a big year for gamers. It seems like every company is pulling out all the stops and quality games are getting ready to rain from the heavens. Some say that 2007 may be the best year EVAR. True or not, Ubisoft is playing a large role in the 360's holiday season. As proof of that, Eurogamer has unveiled Ubisoft's official release list for this holiday season, including planned release dates for major titles like Assassin's Creed and Splinter Cell Conviction. Check out the list after the break.
- Dark Messiah: Elements -- September 7
- Naruto: Rise of a Ninja -- October 19
- Assassin's Creed -- November 9
- Brothers In Arms: Hell's Highway -- November 16
- Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell Conviction -- November 16
- Haze -- November 30

There are so many good games coming out in the 2nd half, it's ridiculous. I've already set my mind on buying Project Sylpheed, Bioshock, Mass Effect, Halo 3, Assassin's Creed, Brothers in Arms, Blue Dragon, Burnout Paradise, Ace Combat 6, Eternal Sonata, Devil May Cry, Beautiful Katamari, Tomb Raider, Super Puzzle Fighter Turbo 2, Tekken 6 and then there are a number of PS3 exclusives like Lair, Ratchet & Clank, Wipeout Fusion HD, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune and probably Killzone 2 too.
That's 20 games in 6 months - and I think I've forgotten a few too! My poor wallet...

Is that Haze date for real? There was this huge "PS3 timed exclusive!!" thing going on and it's seriously only a week...?

Wow, I never thought I'd say this, but... Can't people space out all of the amazing games coming up a little better? I'm going to want to play everything and college is going to be kicking my ass at the same time.
Then again, whatever I don't get will at least be cheaper when I get around to it next summer.

That's a serious shootout: Halo 3, Mass Effect, Assassin's Creed, Bioshock, etc. all in the same quarter - insane.
That's like Spider Man, Star Wars, Radiers of the Lost Ark, Titanic, etc. all hitting theaters in one summer. Here's hoping hardware sales follow suit...

@Perno:
I will get them all ultimately but I won't buy every single title on launch day. I guess I'll buy 2 new titles every month, the rest I'll probably get when the price drops. I could afford getting everything on launch day but I also have a SF/comics/movies habit to feed.
BTW I forgot about Banjo & Kazooie and PGR4. I bet there'll a few more to add after E3...

DAMMIT DAMMIT DAMMIT.
Why is my leg broken? Why now? I need to be saving up for the coming "festivities".
Looks like I'll have to get a job at Best Buy or Game Crazy so I can get a discount.

I'm all about GamezNFlix. $16.99 a month for 3 games/movies out at a time. It's great. They also have an annual subscription of $250 for the whole year, but you get 6 games/movies out at a time.

The only game that I own is Viva Pinata because that game truly has no ending. I could play that game for hours and not get bored.
I've been looking forward to Too Human, Mass Effect, and BioShock for quite some time. This summer/fall will be tons of fun for Xbox 360 gamers!
