GreenDaily: Because nature can't wait until tomorrow.

Beautiful Katamari website frightens children

Finally confirmed last week, the official website for Beautiful Katamari Damacy is now open. The website is covered with Japanese Kanji, so don't expect to get too much out of it aside from the freaky, freaky pictures. Those familiar with the game will feel right at home. Those unfamiliar with the game, however, are likely to feel a creeping sense of dread. There are some new screenshots available on the site. Search them out if you dare. If, on the other hand, you'd rather not delve into this colorful website of madness, you can always check out our Beautiful Katamari gallery.

Anyone looking forward to facing the fear and giving this game a spin?

2. Katamari Damacy is one of the most innovative titles I have ever played. If you want to be "scared of it" then fine. Go play another generic militaristic squad based shooter. But don't complain when one or two years from now all of the innovative and interesting titles end up being PS3 exclusives.

Seriously, this should make for some fun XBL time.

5. Katamari is the type of game you play late at night, when everyone is sleeping and noone can hear the funky Japanese tunes or see the King of All Cosmos's huge package.

6. I'm keeping an eye out for this. I still don't know what the hell you have to do mind but I'm looking forward to it!!

The screens in the previous post about Katamari Damarcy (the one with the 17000-odd kilometre 'ball') were confusing enough!

But if it's Jap and it's wacky then it usually means I'll like it!!

7. I'm stoked! this may be the only thing tearing me away from Halo 3. (not for too long though). for the uninitiated, this is a mental game, play it. words cannot do it justice. the original designer is now designing kids' playgrounds... standard.
