Since it was the people who demanded a Bioshock LE it's only fitting that the people design its box art. From now until May 2nd, 2K Games is asking artistic fans to send in what they think the box art for the Bioshock LE should look like. Yup, they want you to create the box art! If you're the artsy type, be sure to check out all the details after the break. And remember that the designs should be pretty basic and clean (like the example above), because they'll be etching it onto the LE's casing. So, no need to include the Bioshock logo, Xbox 360 junk, or barcode. Oh yeah, the person who submits the winning design will not only see their artwork on the LE, but also get a few copies of the game for free and be flown from anywhere in the world to the Bioshock launch party in August. How can you not love that?

I still don't get why people demanded the limited edition. It's the same game inside. You're just begging them to let you pay more for it. This sets a bad precedent for other game makers (EA), who will take advantage of this and release limited editions of every game under the sun. Thanks, everyone! Vote with your wallet doesn't mean throw it at them with your PIN number attached.

But people signed the petition to get an LE. And by petition, I mean that weak sauce thing 2K handed to the fan site and said "If 5,000 sign it, we'll make it for you...the fans!"
What petition in the world works with only 5,000 signatures? And I don't believe the petition even had the words "We won't buy the release without an LE"
Bottom line: 2K tricked people into thinking they're giving fans they want by "allowing" us to determine if we want an LE or not.

You'd have a reasonable argument if they only released the limited version or if someone held a gun to your head. Now they do neither. Notice how we'll all freely choose what to spend our money on.

I hate the fact you have to be 18, I entered a drawing competition in a local newspaper(The Pittsburgh Tribune Review) and won it, I even had some interesting ideas until the disastrous words, 18 AND OLDER, were read. I guess I have to waity one more year(im 17) until i can acyually, and LEGALLY, be able to do any contests and tournaments, THIS SUCKS!
