Stuntman Ignites onto 360

Before we mentioned that THQ had a bunch of sequels coming down the pipeline, including the Stuntman series. Yesterday, THQ announced that their internal studio Paradigm Entertainment is currently developing Stuntman: Ignition. Scheduled to be released this summer, Stuntman: Ignition has you play the job of a Hollywood stunt driver with the task of performing some of the most insane stunts to be caught on film. Complete with a career mode and online multiplayer, this is looking to be an interesting entry into the Xbox 360's library. Will the "stunt driver" spin be enough to set it apart from the Burnout series, though?

1. I played the original Stuntman on PS2.. This is going to be nothing like Burnout!

2. I am a huge fan of Stuntman (on the PS2), even played it completely from beginning to end several times, so this is definitely good news!!!
I wouldn't compare it to Burnout, as Stuntman has a completely different twist: you have set goals to finish, like go through those barrels on the right side (which would make a whole wall fall behind you) then chase the other car without running front to him, then crash with the other police car, etc etc... all that was then used to include the whole action sequence on a movie.
I wonder how will the replays look on the 360, because they were already awesome on the PS2 (they did a good job on giving a cinematic feel to them).

3. like the two comments above...i also played stuntman for ps2 and it was one of my favorite...some parts were quite difficult but that just made it fun.

as for the comment regarding burnout...this game will be nothing like it. it does not involve smashing up enemy car in as many ways as possible...its like vitor describes is. (cuz im too lazy to describe it myself)

the best part was...based on what you did...when you finished "filming" for a certain "film" or "movie" then you would get to see the trailer...which would be partially infused with sequences of your own driving...im expecting this part on the 360 to be quite spectacular...because it CAN make things seem like they are part of trailers and are computer generated when they really are not...

4. Burnout????!!! What does Burnout have in common with Stuntman other than the both have cars you drive? I know I'm in the minority here BUT this is my most anticipated game of 07 (including Halo)...
