The Gamerscore Blog guys are confirming a few games that will be headed to the Xbox 360 Platinum Hits lineup on March 16th in North America. If you didn't know, the Platinum Hits program is a list of games that have been singled out to retail for $29.99, because they "supposedly" achieved greatness during their lifetime. We may not always agree with certain games that come to the Platinum Hits, but nobody can disagree with the cheaper pricetag. Below is a list of games that will become Platinum Hits in North America.
- Battlefield 2: Modern Combat
- Burnout Revenge
- Call of Duty 2
- Dead or Alive 4
- Fight Night Round 3
- Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter
- Top Spin 2
- Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis

Wasn't Table Tennis $30 from the get go? Or was it $40?

If you already own any of these, the "Plantinum" status also means that these titles will be worth NOTHING on trade.

Fight Night Round 3 is already out as a platinum hit. I saw it as Circuit City when I was buying Crackdown. And I got my free Halo faceplate, oh yeah. It even came with the Halo Trilogy theme.

Table Tennis was 40.
The price drops are already effective from what I'm seeing. This just means they're going to start shipping the new packaging.

I would buy BF:MC but I could probably grab it for $20 off ebay, which is still cheaper regardless.

Fight Night Round 3 as a Platinum Hit is already out in the wild, I got one from Amazon.com, and I saw it at Best Buy. These don't seem to be fantastic savings, and I wish Oblivion was there. I already got Table Tennis too, with 35% off $25.
