Xbox 360 Fanboy

I'm neutral to MGS and I'm not a big fan of Konami in the first place. I don't care if it's on the system or not.

I've never played an MGS game before but from watching people playing them and hearing all the hype I would absolutely love to see this on the 360. Provided M$ gets the new revision out the door so I can finally buy one! Then it will be Wii60 goodness :)

I've played a half hour each of MGS2 and MGS3 and I didn't like the combat at all. I heard MGS4 is different, so maybe it will be worth getting when/if it ports. On that note: There will likely be a port from late 2008 to late 2009, because almost all of the MGS games have been ported.

It's bound to be a fantastic game, and the visuals are likely to be quite possible on the 360. I've never played Metal Gear Solid before (except the demo on Playstation 1). From what I've seen so far, it looks like a great game (except for the fact that the main character is an old age pensioner! or almost anyway).
A thumbs up for a port to 360 from me. But I won't care if it doesn't come to 360. It would be nice, but I'm quite happy (more than happy, actually) with the current line-up of games for the next two years!

i've played and loved all the MGS games. i would love to see MGS4 on 360 because i'm probably not going to get a PS3.

If Konami puts out MSG4 on the 360 then all is forgiven with their crappy games for our loved console to far. Plus is there any execs over at Konami that don't realize how much money they would make if they bring it over to the 360??!! I mean could they really think that 360 owners don't like MSG and so would not buy it if it came out?
The only logical strategy considering the PS3's sales numbers is to bring that game over to all possible systems (ie. Xbox360 and possibly PC) or else they will have lost money in making this game.

WTF. Please tell me your joking. If anybody says that, they either dont understand 1), the amazingly deep storyline, 2), the awesome gameplay, or 3), the emotion that the game elicits from the player. Kojima is a genius, and a mad one at that. But his piece-de-resistance is beautiful, and anyone who thinks he is a hack is a dumbass.

I personally could care less. The game looks boring as all hell to me. Nothing looks that revolutionary, the graphics are really, really bland, the gameplay looks like crap, all AI are apparently total retards; I mean, really, what is so damn good about this?

nooo!! Keep that crap on the other system. mgs time has come and gone, the game has never changed much and the biggest problem of all is it doesn't have coop and never will!! Let ps3 keep this trash and choke on it!! AS a matter of fact the more competition xbox360 has the better games we will have , think guys think!!

If Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of The Patriots came to Xbox 360, it'd be not just the final nail in the Playstation 3 coffin for me, it'd be the soil tossed on top and the headstone labelling it dead. I want MGS4 so badly, AND i'm absolutely not buying a PS3 before the end of the decade. Anyone that hasn't felt out a Hideo Kojima storyline and gameplay is truly missing out on gaming art, and as I mentioned, this would be the biggest loss for Sony since the failure of Beta. I don't think I stand alone in saying that if (when)MGS4 comes to MS, it'd be anything but the sign of life for Playstation and it's 'next gen' gen dominance hopes. Yeah, it's that big.

The only reason i would even buy a playstation 3 is because of this game so for them to throw it over to the 360, They would be doing me and all the fan a favor.

Every metal gear solid game brought to X-box did poorly. The same would go with this one. Most x-box fans dont like the series for some reason. it seems like x-box fans love american/european games and playstation fans love Japanesse games.

So bringing MGS4 to 360 wouldnt benefit Konami at all.

MGS 2 on the PS2 was a classic, so was MGS3 its the only 2 games I finished on the PS2. Im not a long term gamer and mostly play sports titles, but since the 360 came out Ive found myself trying every 360 game out dure to the graphics. Plus Gears had me playing 24/7.

The thing about MGS3 is its like a epic movie you play through, the storyline is beyond perfect, the stealth aspects are even greater. From using different camo paint to match ur enviroment, and using trees, bushes as cover. Its alos pretty fun having that "face mask" like Mission Impossible 2 and walking around as some general in an enemy camp at one point. The guns are realistic, the boss fights are epic and hard.AI is very smart. Its kinda like Splinter cell but less boring. cause splinter cell is boring as heck. At least double agent is. And it would be nice for co-op, but that wouldnt work out for the story. Not every game has to have co-op.

So, being as the Playstation 3 is gaarbage, this is the only game that might be worth somthing on the PS3. It should def come to the 360.

ive never actually played a MSG game. ive heard they're decent. I liked Konami on Sega with Sunset Riders but thats probably the last Konami game ive played
