Yeah, we know. It's not exactly a news flash that developers will be revealing new info about their games at X06, but we're particularly interested in Alan Wake, Remedy's take on Stephen King style horror. In a recent forum post at the Alan Wake website, Remedy staff member, SamivRMD, posted the following:"For once in a lifetime there might be some new info popping up any moment now... :) ... Oh wait, it's not next week yet."
Definite confirmation from an employee in the know, or hopeful speculation from an employee without a clue? Either way, at least we're guaranteed to get a theme.

even more-so, I don't recall seeing any hype that revealed anything about the game. I saw the trailer... the plot had potential... but nothing exceptional graphically... no indication of what the gameplay is like... few plot details...
why is everyone excited for this game?

Too true, Russell; it's a title I've had on my "Must Buy" list since the 360 was first introduced. That, "Dead Rising" and "Possession." Still not much word on that last one, though.

Yeah.
I hate the whole mystery about even the exact gameplay style - but what we've seen is really stylized, and absolutely stunning looking.
The plot may not be unique, but it certainly sounds fun.
But where's the gameplay?
