There is a mandatory auto-update available for Dead or Alive 4. Though it's not clear what is being fixed, although the leaderboards have been reset (sorry high scorers). The most notable problem with the game has been the lag experienced in online play. Any DoA'ers notice reduced lag in Live play?

Well hail the day; I finally picked up my x360 two days ago and hopped in Live for some nice DOA action for the first time today. Jump into a match and thoroughly get my ass handed to me. There's a learning curve to the next version, sure, but this was like ridiculous.
Finally through some of hte chatter I figured out the stats were reset and most of the people in the lobby I joined were A and A+ players. I'm not going to start whooping anyone just yet, but glad to know I don't suck THAT much.

Oh, and lag wasn't too terrible, but it cropped up a bit with a room of 6 or 7 people.

Well, i actualy sent this into joystiq, saying that i have encountered less lag since the update...
It could be a coincidence, but i don't know.
There are some other minor updates though, such as your rank appearing next to your name in all circumstances, like in the character selection screen, and in the actual fight.
