EA has announced that both the PSP and Xbox 360 ports of their upcoming game, The Godfather, will be delayed while the PS2, Xbox, and PC will all make the original March release. An EA spokesman said the delayed ports should make a late summer release.
The delay for these ports makes sense: they are both probably running on a unique base, whereas the other three are probably all very similar. Hopefully this means EA is using this extra time to make sure the 360 version looks and feels next-gen. It's heartening to see them taking this course, following their original decision to delay the game for quality reasons, despite their investors.

to put it in the words of Martha Stewart: it's a good thing.
It was really about time for EA to realise, extra effort has to be put in for NexGen conversions. Way to go EA, maybe (and only maybe) it's time, to believe in this company again.

Thank God for the delay...it's the only thing that will save this game from being a crappy direct port of the xbox and ps2 versions. I just hope it looks just as good as it did at E3 last year.
