Car combat games are few and far between these days. Good car combat games are even fewer and further. Car combat fans rejoice, because today marks the release of Vigilante 8 Arcade on Xbox Live Arcade. We took the trial version for a spin and we liked what we played. Take a look at this weeks installment of XBLA in Brief and see if the game is up your alley.

I'm liking it. Although I think I only like it as well as I do because it is basically the only good car combat game on the 360. I think with a little competition, the bugs and little glitch annoyances in this game would be unbearable. But, on its own it's pretty fun.

I played V8 on PS1!! glad to see it make a comeback. I loved this game back then and I think I'll love it even more now

I got this today already had some fun playing it getting stuck on your roof is a pain but still fun as you struggle and might get right side up again if not then you seek revenge when you play again :D

This is SO great. I played this on the PS1 and Dreamcast - It was great on the Dreamcast.

The thing I love about this release is that it has all the same weapons, vehicles, and that the arenas are pretty much the same - just enhanced.

Great release that will be played at my house for a while
