Nope, you didn't misread the title. Capcom's Street Fighter 2 will be making its way to Xbox Live Arcade game Pinball FX on November 12th ... in the form of a new pinball table.
The new Ryu and Ken themed table will head to the Marketplace to coincide with the release of Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix in November and will include original music and sound effects from the Street Fighter franchise. It'll also feature a bunch of combos, tournaments and a final boss battle where you duke it out with M. Bison and totally geek out in a euphoric Street Fighter fit. Capcom has yet to announce pricing details.

The layout (but not the graphics) looks somewhat similar to the actual Street Fighter II pinball machine that came out in '93. I remember it being a fun machine. Hopefully this table will be as well.

There is so much quality content for this game, and it is equally spaced out to keep me coming back for more. I will be downloading this day one. Hopefully SFIIHDR will be close release as well.

Yes, Pinball FX is a good game, I play it every now and again...not a bad title at all. What they should do is start releasing more licensed machines...ala Theater of Magic...etc...etc

I completely agree, I play it occasionally as well and would be willing to buy more tables particularly if they were licensed off real tables. Would love to see Tales from the Crypt & Dr Who tables that I remember from my youth at the local arcade and bowling alley.

Pinball FX is such a solid sim. A great pinball engine which deserves more content than it gets. I think we should have at least 10 tables for it by now, including reproductions of real-life tables and licensed games tie-ins. I know there are complicated licensing issues with that stuff, but surely Microsoft could see the potential in something like a Gears of War themed table, as some kind of hype-building exercise or advertising tool? I think such things would be mutually beneficial to Zen studios, Microsoft and the owners of the IPs in question.
I'll definitely be buying this SFII table anyway, even though I'm not a huge SF fan.

Tempting! I haven't bought any of the other tables for Pinball FX but this might be worth getting. Gotta say I'd love to see more recreated tables like everyone else here
