Nothing about Far Cry 2 huh? It's all about Overlord, I mean Fable 2. Far Cry 2 Is an such a good game I can't seem to stop thinking about it. Multiplayer for Far Cry 2 reminds me of R6V2.

for serious. i'm beginning to think that Lionhead or it's publisher paid Weblongs Inc. to keep X3F quiet on the other big releases this week, for a couple of days at least. I'm mean Far Cry 2 and Fallout 3 are effing huge deals/releases.
Why else would the be quiet about them, especially after hyping the map editing so much.

You're right. The reason we're talking about Fable 2 is because Microsoft paid us not only to cover it, but also to not cover anything else. It's the only rational reason we would focus on Fable and not talk about Far Cry 2.
It couldn't be that none of us actually own Far Cry 2 and have been spending our time with Fable 2 this week.
It's not like a few features on Fable 2 somehow insults Far Cry 2 anyway. They're video games, not politicians. There is no equal time requirement. We're also not talking much about Midnight Club: LA, Legendary, or Spider-Man Web of Shadows either. We just decided to spend some extra time covering an Xbox 360 exclusive game this week.

Well, first off, I didn't play Sacred 1, so I have no clue of its universe and setting, but the setting in this one is ridiculous. For instance, the heroine I played ran about in high heels, masquerade mask and a pair of double Ds. Also, the voice acting is not the best, and the same goes for the UI.
On a brighter note, it does look fine, and it plays decent - well, for the amount of time I tested it anyways. It's not hard to imagine this as a pretty good Diablo-clone had the setting and art been a bit serious. So if that sounds anything like Sacred 1, you lot'll probably love it; as for me, I've already written it off as a bit of a missed opportunity.
What strikes me about it is that it feels like a low budget title in a way, but not in the way that ordinary is the case with that type of product. Usually, what's missing in a low budget game is tech and polish, but in this one the tech is just fine and the polish is not miles off, but what's really striking about it instead is just how tacky it feels.
Am I completely wrong here?

But, they made an in-game engine video with Blind Guardian man! That screams cool to me.
