Continuing the Tokyo Game Show announcement frenzy, Microsoft announced a sequel to Q Entertainments Ninety-Nine Nights called (ever so coincidentally) Ninety-Nine Nights II. A game that can also be referred to as 99 Nights 2, N32 or even Ninety-Nine Nights + Two More. All we received was the actual sequel announcement with no further details, but we're eagerly anticipating more news.

hey buddy... I CARED :)
I loved the original game, way the hell better than any Dynasty Warriors game. (theyve had 6 failures in that franchise).
Yes the first was also exclusive, Microsoft published the game, as im sure they will the second. So i'd figure they own the franchise.

Agreed on that, Dynasty Warriors 4 was the last one I was able to enjoy.

Well, i wouldn't go so far as to say DW has failed anywhere, yes, its gotten a bit stale but thats besides the point...
N3 fucking rocked. Easily one of my favorite games on the system, it was difficult, but also fun, and the screen clearing attack of Aspharr's was fucking pimp. I'm hoping for a more fleshed out story, and way more playable characters.
Hopefully they've been working on this one for a long time.
As an aside, anyone know when the new KUF comes out? I remember them talking about doing a direct sequel to the RTS/RPG hybrid ones they did for the original 'Box, so I was just wondering.

I really didn't care for the original and found it ridiculously boring and uninspired. Personally I find it hard to get excited about this.

Gee, if you don't like football games, then Madden must be the suckiest game ever made, right?
N3 was a great game, better than Dynasty Warriors or Kingdom Under Fire. Unlockable characters with new and unique attacks (the one witch-girl that uses waves of water as an attack is a lot of fun to play).
But the sequel is going to have to improve on something... if it's the same game as before, then it will be mediocre at this point.
And let me go out on a limb and say that N3 is probably a better hack n slash than Too Human!

I liked N3... except for the lack of a checkpoint! I never beat the first level... because it takes like 45 mins to get to the boss... and if you die... start over at the begining... :(

I have mixed feelings. Although I liked the first game there needs to be quite a few changes before I would consider picking up the sequel. Judging from the history of the genre I don't think we'll see any changes worth speaking of.

I thought it was uninspired and boring, not to mention ugly.
I guess its not my style of game so I might be able to see you guys liking it... but you have to admit that everything besides the character models was blaaannnnd.
