Update: To clear up any confusion regarding the suite DLC, we just heard from EA that the Elite skin will be available as a free download off the XBLM for two weeks after the game's release. After two weeks, we aren't sure if it'll go paid or disappear, just know there is no pre-order necessary.
Today, EA made the big announcement that the violently abusive space adventure Dead Space has gone gold and is being laser inscribed to disc so you can enjoy the fun on October 14th. But that's not all, because EA also mentioned that they're awarding gamers who purchase the game within' two weeks of launch with platform specific Dead Space skins. Obviously these are 'fanboy' sites, but PS3fanboy seems to have very little bias, especially when mentioning media pertaining to Xbox 360 news...
The 'Elite' suit looks the same as the default one in the game with a green glow to the mask. At least the 'Obsidian' suit is darkened...although I don't know why they didn't make the mask glow red, considering black n' red = PS3 but whatever.

Zorgy, Haston is right, there isn't any difference and he isn't really dissing anything here. btw Don't label people as the opposite fanboy until you know for sure. Honestly, the best way to know for sure is to check their comment history, just click on their name. Oh and Loban, if you click on the gallery and look at the pics, the suits are exactly the same! (minding the color's console scheme) I mean why would they want them to be different? Do they want to pull something like Soul Caliber 4 with exclusive content that is so cool but so unfair at the same time?

I agree, too many games coming out in between now and Christmas. Though some of those games will not be on my list by their release time, that all depends on whether they live up to expectations.

Actually, PS3 is getting two exclusive outfits. Obsidian (shown: black armor, blue visor) and Scorpion (dark, roughed up suit with red visor) which looks absolutely badass. Look up the picture and you'll agree. "Pwned" just seems the right thing to say now. :)

Yeah, the Scorpion suit looks sweet. I pre-ordered from Gamestop and they just emailed me the Scorpion suit code. Nice added bonus to the pre-order artbook. I'm looking forward to torching some alien fiends.
