Atari and SimBin's rather generic looking racer RACE Pro has just been confirmed for release in January 2009 after initially being slated for release this Fall. With that announcement comes word that a RACE Pro demo (featuring both single and online multilplayer modes) will release to the Xbox Live Marketplace sometime before Christmas. Please, fanboys, try to contain your racing excitement.

Sim Bin's racers on the PC are *excellent*, I'm really looking forward to seeing how this turns out.

"Generic?" This is SimBin, the same company that did the GTR series, GT Legends, and the Race series, all crazy-good hardcore racing sims on the PC. They may not be well-known in the console world, but they make a good product. I have high hopes for this title.

You know this is one of many times where they talk about a good game like it was bad right? They did this with Call of Duty 4 and probably a bunch of other games I didn't see. Relax. :P

I'm pretty happy to see a SimBin title on the 360 finally (weren't we supposed to get GTR in like 2006/07?), can't wait!
Since we're finally getting this great PC dev to release a racing title on the 360... perhaps others will follow? I for one would love to play Trackmania on the 360...
