It was once rare for
Xbox Live Arcade to receive two games in a single week. Heck, it was once rare for XBLA to receive
one game in a single week. And here we are, getting
three in one week. All told we have
Pirates vs Ninjas Dodgeball,
Shred Nebula, and
Gin Rummy. So, we've got a party sports game, a space shooter and a card game. The only question now is whether or not anyone will want to open their wallents after the veritable treasure trove of games that dropped in August. Both
PvN Dodgeball and
Shred Nebula will set you back 800 Microsoft Points.
Gin Rummy is a mere 400. All three are now available on Marketplace for your perusal.

Hmm.
PVsNDB is ok but seems kinda bland and unwanted after hitting Castle Crashers so hard this last week.
Gin Rummy is ok as well. It is nice to see a 5 dollar game and this card game is a good one yes.
Shred Nebula is a game I had little intrest in, but it ends up being the best game released this week as it is a pretty solid title with more than a few mechanics to master all priced at a nice 800 points. It's not for everyone but it gets my pick this week.
PVSNDB would have faired alot better had it came out a week before Castle Crashers.
Like everyone on my list is playing that game non stop, it's really good and I would imagine that just about noone is ready to pack it up and commit to another online game like PVSNDB just yet.

I'm not a Duke Nuken fan, but... everything else.... YES! I swear Treasure and SNK could make a killing on XBLA with some smart investments... (And Konami, with their huge cache of 90s brawlers...)

I played the demo of PvN Dodgeball yesterday, and I gotta say, was really underwhelming, just seemed to be very boring and not that fun, that may be partly because of the greatnees of the more recent arcade releases. Havent had a chance to play any of the other 2 games yet, got distracted by castle crashers.
