Even with three
Halo games completed,
two more in the works, memorabilia spanning the retail spectrum from
board games to
action figures, Microsoft promises not to exploit the
Halo brand. Though, "exploring" the brand is fair game.
Bungie's Microsoft's own Frank O'Connor reiterated their
Halo franchise intentions after the recent Comic-Con funnery admitting that "the
Halo universe is really, really big now." O'Connor continued saying that "we have a well defined, carefully orchestrated, properly planned universe to explore not exploit" admitting "that's the tricky part: what are the things people want to do?"
Just don't over-whore out yourselves guys (we're looking at you too Bungie, we know you still have a
microscopic amount of control over how the
Halo franchise is handled). There's a fine line between giving fans what they want and becoming a total sell out. We trust in you though.

I'll never forgive them for what they did to Bungie at E3 2008. It was the biggest slap in the face they have ever done to any partner of Xbox, and it was to the developer who single-handedly carried the brand to popularity. Absolutely disgusting...I will not be happy until Don Mattrick leaves his job.

Well you could always start one of those new-fangled internet petitions. If nothing else it might get some press attention.

Wow. Get out much?
While shitty, they didn't screw bungie over or anything. They postponed a freaking announcement.

Yet you will still buy the next Halo game right? So I doubt they care that you were bothered by events you know so little about.

Please please please give me a squad based shooter where I can play an entire game as a Grunt squad leader (and perhaps have a few Jackal snipers to work with as well).
Nothing beats that tasty food nipple!

Halo MMOFPS? Since the universe is "really, really big now". When I think of big I usually think of MMOs for the main fact they are "really, really big".

Every mario game has been different. Mario 64 defined platforms. Sunshine took it up a level. Galaxy took it up a huge level. Not counting the spin offs not that they are all bad.

Maybe they can make a Halo game as good as first since Bungie wasn't able to.

It's a little late to be talking about selling out now.
Novels + action figures + Clix game = already sold out a long time ago
