Here it is fanboys. E3 hasn't even officially started yet, and already we're running ourselves ragged and staying up into the wee hours of the morning (it's just after 4:00 in the morning in Los Angeles as of this posting ... eesh). Here is the first of our E3 Special Fancasts. We'll be dropping a new one every day during E3 this week, so keep your eyes open for Day 1 tomorrow. We won't be offering these as enhanced podcasts, by the way, as we're putting them together as quickly as possible for everyone. Enjoy today's Day 0 episode, as Dustin, Alexander and Richard (that's me!) discuss the Microsoft E3 Press Briefing. Tomorrow: Gears of War 2 and (if we can get them in time) Fable 2 and Banjo 3.

yea must have been great to see all of these awesome announcements. def best press conference ive ever seen.
i was very impressed with everything microsoft has shown, but the one final thing ive been wanting for so long is the unification between the xbox marketplace and the zune marketplace to allow purchased content to be redownloaded at both fronts, especially for tv shows.

Great cast guys ... especially considering how hectic your schedule is there at E3.
I would have loved to hear your thoughts on Fallout 3 and the FPS vs RPG aspects.

Hilarious hearing Dustin achieving multiple nerdgasms during podcast whenever Gears of War 2 is brought up. Exciting stuff.
Kind of shocked to hear so little mention of Fallout 3? I might be wrong but I thought Richard was a big RPG fan so I expected much excitement about it from the crew. Todd Howard's leadoff demonstration blew me away. The new trailer on the Marketplace looks amazing in HD!

Hey guys, great job thanks for the update.
Regarding the discussion about installing games on the hard drive I'm thinking this could be Microsoft's answer to blu-ray with regard to storage capacity. FF XIII is probably gonna be a huge game with regards to storage space and would have to be spread out over several standard dvd's. This feature could allow players with hard drives to avoid disc switching while allowing "arcade" users to play the game as usual albeit with the added inconvenience of swapping out a disc.
Just one theory...

Great work guy's!
The idea for installing a game on the hard drive is a great, as it is the DVD drive that make the most noise, especially games like GoW, where the disc does not stop being read.
