It looks like Portal will live on. Microsoft will announce Portal: Still Alive will continue the single player story found in the original Orange Box collection, and will add new challenges. With the popularity raging from the original, this looks to be a big win for Microsoft when it hits the service. The announcement comes from the leaked Gamerscore Blog video, which has now been removed. No word on exclusivity.

"Update: Portal: Still Alive is exclusive to Xbox 360 this fall."
PS3 owned much lately? will most likely be timed, but man, that kinda sucks for PS3 Portal fans.

There's a lot of news today that sucks for PS3 fans. Not that I care, though. I'm happy with my 360 and Wii. Today's news only confirms my decision to never buy a PS3.

Does this mean Valve won't release it on Steam for the PC? That seems highly unlikely.

What's with all the exclusivity?
Why can't everyone share the love of Portal?

Because if only Microsoft has it, it will score Microsoft big and screw over the PS3.
Dang, the PS3 needs to get something REALLY F-ING BIG to beat Microsoft.

When the screen went dark at the conference, I was expecting Duke Nukem Arcade, but GlaDOS is much more welcome :)

I agree. I bought Orange Box on my 360 and played the hell out of Portal. But once I upgraded my PC I traded in OB and bought the PC version because the controls are about a billion times better. I'll wait for the PC release.
Also, it does suck for PS3 users, I have all systems but I just think it's to the point of laughably unfortunate that Microsoft is doing whatever they can to have a corner on the market. Share the wealth, jesus.

Does "exclusive to xbox 360 this fall" mean its releasing in fall, and is completely exclusive, or a timed exclusive so it will release later for other platforms? Honestly, I'm not getting this for anything except PC, so if they just locked it off of steam, especially valve's whole spewing over how PC gaming isn't dead, I'm going to be kind of annoyed.

I'm so happy we'll be able to continue our research together. There is still a lot of important work to do.
