Frozen Codebase's 800 Microsoft point Elements of Destruction is a destruction sim, where your goal is to destroy, blow up and "kablam!" as many things as possible. With two player online and local multiplayer, versus or cooperative and the feeling of having god-like powers, Elements of Destruction may be something to check out.
The other XBLA release this week is Wanako's Sea Life Safari (also 800 MS points) where the goal is to explore the ocean and take pictures of underwater creatures. No joke. Now, we aren't going to pre-judge Sea Life Safari (though we really, really want to), but we have a feeling that a sea creature photography game is a very niche gaming experience. Anyhoo, check out all the new XBLA screenshot goodness in the galleries below.

What is this? Schizoid is what I want.
Oh, and I was going to skip WOTB:Commando 3, until I downloaded the X3F TV spot about it, and I decided to pick it up.
Thanks guys!

"You are a force of nature!!!"
Ok, now I at least have to download the demo.
I'm sure it will be utter garbage, but I've always wanted to be a force of nature...

I can understand a 2 but a 2.2? What bizarre rating scheme can possibly account for a .2 difference when the score is already that low?
For that matter what's the point of a 10 scale rating when anything less than 6 is going to mean utter crap?

Well, truth be told, they haven't actually reviewed either title yet lol.
Sea Life Safari might be fun. It looks honestly exactly like Pokemon Snap, which I enjoyed on some level.

Oh yeah, all the same coming from IGN they'd be believable scores. IGN gave Jumper a 4.9. Seriously why not just give the fucker a 5?!
I'm with Tony, this game could be interesting. Still probably not as cool as that Wii scuba game though.

Wow. Somewhat out of the blue, but yea... I can't get hyped for these, but they may be interesting.
The opposing theme for these 2 games is funny, though. What in the world could they release alongside Castle Crashers, I wonder? (Probably nothing, allowing it to steal the full spotlight)

What happened to 400 point games? I have a feeling XNA games are going to take over that 400 point spot - until those go to 800, too. But really, there use to be some awesome games at at 400 point price range. Now you get "Sea Life Safari" for 800!

Wow...yawn...I will at least try Elements of Destruction...
Both look like total lacklusters and a waste of the XBLA realestate...

I'm totally biased as I've been working on Elements of Destruction for several months now, that being said there aren't many games that I'll go back to again and again after we've finished them. EoD is one of those games for me...and I hope everyone gives it a try and enjoys it as much as I do.
