Well, I have bought and beaten the crap outa Commando3. A worthy Arcade title indeed.
However, this game suffers from massive online playability issues.
The game seems to run fine with two players, but try to play with 3 and you will be very lucky, if its even possiable, to have a game without some serious issues.
These problems stem from bullets not showing up, to players getting stuck and unable to join the other two, thus advancement is not possiable. And if you do advance, the game will eventually crash by taking control away from the other two characters.
It needs a big update to fix some big problems.
I don't see how this ever made it past the game testing department. Shame on you guys, you should all be fired.
Still a good game though.

that's pretty disappointing. i was looking forward to this one.
how does stuff like this consistently happen? either they didn't test the multiplayer at all (not likely) or knew about the problems and shipped it out anyway (more likely).

Somehow I thought this was the 3D frogger that was out on the PC a few years back, that game was actually pretty decent. This however is complete crap and will be delisted in 6 months.

I did enjoy that IGN gave Commando 3 a 5.9 on XBLA and a 6.3 on PSN... PSN's being on top only because it has less competition on the service.
Good reason!

Either way, both scores are too low for me to consider picking this title up.
I find that Hardwood Spades is still my favorite arcade purchase, and most everything else has been an impulsive buy or a disappointment.

Sorry, I forgot to mention Frogger2.
Its not so bad really.
Questional if it is worth 800 ms points but compared to the very first frogger this game is Leaps ahead. And enjoyable, try it out more.
I'm low on points so I can't pick this one up yet but I will be getting it soon.

As far as Commando goes, IGN are a bunch of Dickheads tired of playing games.
Commando 3 gets a 8 out of ten from me as far as arcade games go. The online issues will surly be fixed if Capcom notices people complain about it.
It is very obvious that in this "Age of Digital Downloading Infancy", Capcom in fully embracing the concept and is "all in" so to say.
Expect Capcom to be the major catalist in the success of digital games.
One more time I'll say this, WOTB Commando 3 is a bad ass game. better than Assault Heroes 2 I'd say.

Wow, Commando 3 is awesome. Excellent execution on many levels, but as mentioned the online is basically half finished which will hopefully be remedied very soon.
