A new Too Human video has been released, this time discussing the game's battlecries (game developers can make two words into one now?). For those unfamiliar with the game, battlecries are essentially part of the game's magic system. When activated, battlecries bestow positive effects on players, including co-op partners. Some examples in the video (as explained by studio head Dennis Dyack) are a battlecry that makes all hits critical hits, giving players the ability to deal twice as much damage (pretty handy in a fight) and an ice shield that freezes enemies when they attack (also useful). Now, if we could just find the battlecry that makes it August right now.
It gets on my nerves that he keeps saying "party", "group", "everyone", making it sound like more than 2 players. Having said that, I'm still getting this day one.
There will be NPCs that play along with you so even though there is two player co-op it is possible you can have multiple NPCs playing along with you. You can have a "party" by just playing the game by yourselves. That is not even counting the Spiders you can drop to fight alongside you.
I still can't get over the drop to 2 players in co-op. While I'm sure eventually I will pick this title up... I'll probably just try to trade for it on Goozex rather than run out and buy it.
Everyone's complaining about the drop down to 2 people online, but I hadn't paid any attention to this game until recently, so it doesn't change the fact I'll definitely be picking this up.
Looks like a faster-paced Mass Effect that you can play with a friend. But battlecries look really cool and will add an extra layer of strategy to this game
The more I see from this game the more I'm actually disappointed that it's not 4 player. I mean, I just sent Army of Two away to someone on Goozex, because 2 players got really stale.
Oh, and another word that games made up by combining two words - gameplay.
Yeah seriously why does that mirror the comments? What even is the point of doing that since it is a different blog all together? I love how the editor added the line "Waiting for it!!" to the end just so you know it is a Chinese blog.

I am glad that people on this site are enthusiastic about this game. In the GameTrailers comments the people are ridiculously negative and immature.
I am a much more proud to be a part of the Joystiq and x3f community.
