In a move that can only lead to more linktacular medals being awarded, Bungie has just made Halo 3's uber l33t matchmaking septagon symbol enabled by default to all Bungie.net member. This is the same symbol that made us feel special and semi-cool while trolling through Halo's matchmaking playlists. So, from hence forth, anyone who links their Bungie.net account with their Gamertag will automatically have the septagon symbol enabled on Halo 3 and will have to go out of their way to manually disable it in their Bungie.net preferences. And if you still have no clue what all this Halo 3 septagon talk is about, just look away, bow your head down and be ashamed of yourself.

I've had this enabled since Halo 3 came out. I even have a couple Linktacular medals in social games from when social doubles were around.

Doesn't happen often...1200 games = 1 social linktacular and 10 ranked linktacular. All of my normal playing group has this turned on already.
