I''m pretty sure the reason is that Neversoft is really only capable of pumping out one mediocre game at a time. They currently have their hands full with Guitar Hero IV: Rock Band. Maybe you'll get your fix of "grinding" an entire roller coaster with that game. It's easier for them to include something like that than it is for them to come up with their own characters. In fact, I'm going to go all in and tell everyone to expect Guitar Hero: Legends of Skateboarding next Spring. It will cost $79.99 because it will be packaged with crappy skateboarding stickers for your Les Paul. Preorder the $99.00 "Special" Edition to get a collector's photo book of a bunch of skaters wearing mo-cap clothing pretending to play guitar.
...maybe I went a little too far.

What, may I ask, in my silly, silly, post, made you think that I LIKE Tony Hawk?
The whole thing was parody.

Haha, nothing in your post made me think that. I thought your post was quite humorous and I had to follow it up with my own peace of mind. Perhaps when I said "Maybe you'll get your fix of "grinding" an entire roller coaster with that game" I should have said "Maybe everyone can get their fix."

Actually, why doesn't Activision just buy a Music-based game developer and contract the Tony Hawk series to them. It's GOT to work both ways!
