Video: This is how Aerosmith rocks the guitar
There's a brand new Guitar Hero Aerosmith "Rock Out Trailer" that recently released which aims at pulling you back into the Guitar Hero world. Which it does, because GHAero's look really hasn't changed all that much from GHIII, except for the addition of real-time ribbon physics that have been added for Steven Tyler's microphone stand. And we don't know if it's just us or not, but don't you think the cartoon version of Steven Tyler is a bit on the manorexic side? We can count his ribs ... just saying.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing lol. He has muscles, but he's still thin as hell.
As for the game, I'm more excited for the non-Aerosmith tracks (although the band has some good albums). Cheap Trick and Deep Purple both up my interest in this one.

I think I'll stick with Rock Band. I have no intention of switching back to the GH brand.

It's hard for me to be LESS excited by this.
While I'm sure Aerosmith was won over to the Guitar Hero franchise by being offered their own freaking game... I think in the long term their exclusivity with a dying franchise will only serve to hurt them.

I can't help but be disappointed in the fact that GH3 and this new GH Aerosmith look identical.
That tells me that they basically focused all their time developing content rather than a new game per say. They would be better off releasing as DLC or do something similar to Rock Band for their content distribution rather than pushing a new game all the time. The problem with the new game approach is all the DLC from previous games go out the window.
I made a commitment to stop purchasing anything GH related after the whole Rockband vs GH guitar issues but they are not keeping the consumer in mind here by pushing out new games all the time.

It looks like less of a difference than 'Rocks the 80s'. At least everything was reskinned.

I looks like they're pandering to the lucrative "Guys in Muscle Shirts and Cut-Off Jeans Who High Five And Say 'DUUUUDE' After Playing A Rousing Beer Pong Match" market.
