The game might be fun but the trailer they posted on XBL Marketplace for the game was total garbage.

In fact the game IS fun ( regular game is easy, but multiplayer rocks). If you like card games and boardgames like Carcassonne or Catan, you'll be happy, for sure. Don't expect great visual effect, but you will have some fun, for sure.

One downside for me, is that this game, just like Catan and Carcassonne, has nearly illegible text on my HD TV. I can barely make out the numbers in my own hand, and for my opponent's stacks it's just a blurry mess.
Playing through my PJ it looks fine though (just like the other games).
I'm not sure why these handful of games do so poorly on my main set. *shrugs*

In this case, they really didn't make use of the screen. Lots of wasted space. Some of it because they're trying to be the exact card in the real game, but in video form. Long vertically stacked cards don't work on normal and widescreen TVs. If there were such things as "tallscreen" (like widescreen but vertical) then this would be the way to go. But there aren't and they should have altered the shape of the cards.

I've been meaning to give this genre a try. Seems like a good chance to take the plunge.

Y'know, as an archaeologist and gamer, I have to tell you that solitaire is sometimes MORE interesting than archaeology. Don't get me wrong, archaeology is fascinating work, but it can also be really mind-numbing. So, can the game be ALL bad...?

This game is not for me.
I dont feel it is worth 800 points.
I liked Carcassonne but this game is more up Soltrios alley.
The game looks really grainy with poor sound, in an over all very unpolished game.
I'll bank on the fact that when MS is ready to through us something free it'll be this.

no offline multi because then you would see your oppenent's hand.
would be worth buying the actual card game then. I have both (cards and xbox game) and love them.
