There goes another bit of the UT3 tease. ShackNews has confirmed that Epic has nothing in the pipeline regarding any Gears of War 2 demo. Like Halo 3 before it, the big holiday Xbox release has plenty of hype on its own to sell well. Plus, as Epic notes, creating a demo removes that much more from design, QA, production (and more) from the main game's development. They are, of course, correct, further noting that the game's two year production cycle would have made a demo even more difficult for Epic to pull off. *Sigh* All for the best we suppose.

After playing the first one, I don't need a demo. I know it's a bland, colorless, world populated with masculine stereotypes that only exist in video games and gay bars.
Pretty graphics, though.

tho i dont play it anymore, it was fun online.

Well...there isn't a point in making a demo for these games.Developers probably need to pay MS in order to upload stuff on XBLM.
But when it is certain that the game will sell millions of copies, why bother?

Actually, COD4 had a demo. Well, at least for the PC. I remember playing it and telling myself again and again how sweet the game was and how i was gonna buy it the moment it releases.
And meh, i didn't expect any demo for Gears 2. Demos only come out for avg. - crappy games. Big game developers don't really give a shit about demos anymore. Too scared i suppose. Sad. Very sad.
