Treasure
told us last week, but today Microsoft made it
officially official. The highly anticipated arcade shooter
Ikaruga will make its way to the Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday, April 9th for 800 Microsoft points.
Ikaruga will feature five levels of shooter action, two player co-op gaming locally or over Xbox Live and include a video replay mode to watch all the destruction over, and over again. It's
Ikaruga! It's releasing this Wednesday! It's
Ikaruga!

Hey I like the puzzle games too but its hard to see them come out every week.
I already have Astro Pop, Zuma, Puzzle Fighter HD, Puzzle Quest, Hexic and in my opinion the king of the hill Poker Smash.
So if a puzzle game is gonna hit it better be stellar, not boogie bunnies or Tiqal or bliss island.
Granted Tiqal was ok but I bored fast of it and I would actually buy BB or bejewelded 2 if it were 400ms.
I want Peggal, Baku Baku, Klax, Columes or something fresh and genious like poker Smash.
The fact that MS is opting to pass by titles like dodonpachi and release hordes of puzzle titles is placeing puzzle games out my favor.
There are already plenty of great Puzzle games to work your brain in the marketplace.

Well, the problem there is that Tiqal is certainly more original than yet another port of Columns or Klax... I mean, you can't really say no more puzzle games and then say you want a bunch of really specific titles. Perhaps there's people out there that enjoy Tiqal and Boogie Bunnies just as much.
I think it's just a case of not being able to please every last person every week.

The new content includes two Action Mode Environments in the Environment Pack and an additional 15 Puzzles in the Puzzle Pack, giving players a total of 13 immersive environments and 70 mind bending puzzles.

@Tony
Tiqal was ok, but not worth the same price as Poker Smash.

Yay! This means not having to spend overinflated amounts of money on eBay for the GameCube version of this game!

Awesome. This is one game I've missed since ditching my PS2. Now if I can get Ratchet & Clank and MGS4 on Xbox 360 I'll really be happy.
