The OFLC just published a listing for Geometry Wars Retro Evolved 2 today, which is super great news, except for the fact it doesn't look to be a 360 exclusive. According to the listing, the game is being published by Activision (and being authored by them as well) rather then Bizarre Creations and is categorized to be "multi-platform". That's about all the info we can pull from this ratings post and it's great to hear that we'll be treated to a true sequel (Geometry Wars: Waves doesn't count), even though we have to share with non-360 gamers. Bring on the geometry!

as long as i get to play it on my 360 i could care less.Besides unless it brings down the game play, graphics, I think every one deserves to enjoy a great game no matter what system they play on.

I love Geometry Wars, even though I suck at the game.

Geometry Wars rocks. Who cares if other platforms are getting it? It's going to be awesome, so let them enjoy it too. It's popular so why would they leave it on one system? Someone doesn't understand supply and demand.

If I had to guess I'd say Dustin was saying it tongue-in-cheek...
It's been a while since I fired up the old GW, maybe tonight I'll play a game. Hopefully 2 will have an easy difficulty mode, it'd be pretty relaxing if it wasn't so freaking hard!

yeah, I don't think anyone really cares about small arcade games going multiplatform. That being said, it would be cool to have FLOW on XBLA.

PC does count as "multiplatform", so we'll see.

Great news that a sequel is coming. I have mix reactions on it being multi-platform. It seems when it comes to 360 and it's fanboys they don't care about games going multiplatfrom but if you ask a Sony fanboy or even a Wii fanboy they will tell you to "get bent" if you ever implied one of their games(like someone suggested FLoW) going to another platform.
They see the value of having games only on their platform and unlike 360 folks they have the option. MS sold out long ago and as you can see it has the weakest exclusive line-up of any console this gen. And also notice it is the weakest in sales and is losing it's marketshare on a daily basis. Why? well because you don't have to own a 360 to play the games the system offers. The 360 is basically the hooker of the console business, everybody can have a piece of it's action.
