Video: Bad Company's hopping med kits
As quirky as it sounds, we believe to have just discovered our new comedic weak spot ... hopping med kits. That's correct, bunny hopping med kits of jumping extravagance. The Project Mod Gaming crew captured med kit hopping enjoyment this week while playing the newly released Battlefield: Bad Company beta. And as much as we want to say it isn't a glitch, we have to believe it is. Though, just think of how cool it would be to play the retail build of Bad Company and be able to spring a med kit mid-game, having it bounce around as if a coked up bunny were inside. If that were the case, we'd have no problem being a medic every game.

Wow. This game must be even worse than I thought. People are having more fun bouncing med kits than actually shooting people.

I like the game so far. Just have 2 or 3 hours of play, I am buying it when it hits retail.

the object physics in the game are kinda fucked up. Not only can you get the med kits to do that, but it's not unusual to see a crate or barrel floating in the air after an explosion, and it will sit there until it gets shot or hit by something else.

I personally don't like the vehicle control schemes in Bad Company. I hate not being able to aim easily while I drive, like I could always do in Halo.

I will agree it has some issues, but hopefully the final version will be tweaked based on user interaction and feedback. I didnt think the helicopters could be harder to fly in this one than the modern combat but they proved me wrong there :) Parachutes in the final version I bet. (mainly for the pilot to bail before he flys into the ground.

I like the game, being a fan of BF and FPSs. I've had the privilege of seeing barrels in the air, and when you shoot at them they just fall down from the sky. I don't know why people rag on games while in beta... the game is great, better then half the crap that has been released except for COD4 which i have to say is the best FPS out right now on 360.

@Alan
That was my first thought, until I realized I could use the left trigger for acceleration. Now I can control tanks really well.

I played this game twice the first day. Hated it. Hated on it on a few different boards. Then played it for 3 hours last night and grew to love it. I will probably be picking this game up.
I hated the helicopter controls the first time I tryed. But then I went into the menu and changed the default controls. Anyways, this is just a beta after all. The game is great when you get into the controls and everything. Artillery = awesome

the game did suck for me too, when I played it for my first time, and as I played more I got better...But I got very very bored after so many games;P The game seems to go like this....You kill someone, 2 seconds later...Someone kills you. Do this over, and over, and now you can see how repititive this can be=P

Hopping medkits are 200 Microsoft Points each. Plain stationary ones are only 180, so that's a savings of 20 Microsoft Points.

Why do people ALWAYS feel the need to lay some song over the video they all want us to love? I didn't watch the whole thing but I can only guess it also had credits at the end right? UGH...
