It was an exciting week, wasn't it? We received over five thousand entries in our five-day-long custom Mass Effect Xbox 360 Elite giveaway and today we announce the winner. Without further ado (except for that "without further ado" part), the winner is ... derektgreen, who plans to keep this wonderful prize while giving his current 360 to a friend so they can finally partake in some Live COD4 multiplayer. Li'l Chief just had to get his picture taken with the Xbox before its fond farewell from Fanboy Towers, but rest assured it will soon be winging its merry way to our winner. For what it's worth, the vast majority of readers of X3F (or any website, really) do not leave regular comments. Also, while Derek hasn't left many comments, he's definitely a reader. We even answered one of his emails on the Fancast.

Congrats to the winner, though. It certainly is nice of you to give your old Xbox to a friend. Is your old Xbox a Pro or an Elite? Because you could probably get a transfer kit to transfer the contents of your old hard drive to your new one. It overwrites everything on your new hard drive, though, so be careful with that.
