WRUP: gambling is wrong edition

They say that familiarity breeds contempt. That's true to a point, but it's certainly not a widely held axiom in the game development community. Well, not the game publishing community anyway. Thus, this week, the biggest release is the sequel to Rainbow Six Vegas, cleverly titled Rainbow Six Vegas 2. The only question is whether or not it can pull any fanboys away from Call of Duty 4 and Halo 3 long enough to make an impact. It is with this in mind that we ask the age old question: what will you be playing this weekend?

I had planned on playing R6V2 all weekend, but since the online multiplayer is broken I guess I'll stick with CoD4. They have removed/changed some of the essential gametypes from R6V1 and made ranked matches an absolute chore. No unlimited respawns? 5 minute time limit? When players are eliminated they just quit out. Its lame.

Player matches are fun, but they take forever to fill up. So until Ubi patches it to allow unlimited respawns in A&D and splits Team Deathmatch back into Team Survival and Team Sharpshooter (again with unlimited respawns and a variable time limit), I'll stick with CoD4, or Mass Effect, or Condemned 2, or a host other games I have to finish...

I FINALLY beat Lost Odyssey last nite *phew* so now I may go back to some COD4, play some Army of Two with a friend, and a lil Saints Row to get me primed for GTA4 :-D!

Definitely not SMBB. I may do what nerrrrrrd is doing and play some Saint's Row. Halo 3 of course, and Condemned 2.

I honestly don't know. I just wrapped up Lost Odyssey. Maybe go back through LO and try to get those last couple of achievements. Damn that game was awesome.

Then again, may give Eternal Sonata a whirl or go back and finish those last levels on vetern in COD4.

I have been playing COD since its release. I got Rainbow on wednesday and have been playing it since. I have given up on it. Nothing is new from the first one, and the MP is so much worse than COD4 it hurts me to play it. I am switching back to COD4 today, I have rainbow a fair chance...

RSV2 coop for sure. Nothing has as much coop replayability as Rainbow Six.
