To coincide with the release of the Frontlines: Fuel of War multi-player demo, the senior producer Joe Halper gave the site totally360.com a quick interview to address a myriad of issues. A good chunk is devoted to the games new and novel approach to things in a genre muddled with sameness. The folks at Kaos seem to know of this problem and appear to be focused on the things that will make their game stand out from the pack. With the drones, the frontline itself, the destructible environments and the various vehicles that shouldn't be too hard to do. Though some of the talk around the multi-player is a bit dodgy, we can now find out for ourselves. The Q&A effectively finishes off with the assertion that Frontlines has the potential to rank up there with Halo 3 and COD 4 at the top the most played list. Does it? We'll be able to find out in exactly two weeks.

Demos pretty good and polished. It seems they forgot about making a demo and focused on making the demo look good. What a waste of space. Seems pretty good but not COD4 , Halo 3 Ranking. Halo 3 will always be in the top spot area(up to 5th at the most) but its what "made" the Xbox. I would love to see a community like Bungie has then maybe I'll stop sending flowers to Frankie. LOL!

I think the mp demo is great its alot of fun.Im tired of cod4 personally and its nice to see something fresh that doesnt suck.At the end of the day cod4 is just another run and gun shooter that really requires no tactics other than to shoot before you opponent and keep your sights on him.This gives you loads of weapons drones tanks planes heli's and before you call it just another battlefield clone nobody ripped on saints row it took a game like gta and made it better.Thats all they did here took a game like battlefield and made it better.
And its a 360 exclusive as well and personally i dont know why the sony fanboys are goping nuts over rehashed shooters like kz2 and haze they bitch about shooters and then they praise them it sounds like there jealouse.

Haven't tried the MP demo, but if the SP demo was anything to go by then it'll be ok but nothing special.

Demo is absolutely amazing. I played about 8 straight games, and most other people in the server did as well. We all started getting very good & using all of the available tactics in amazing ways. Anyone dissing this game has no idea what they are talking about. I'm getting ready to get back on and play, employing all the various tactics are fun alone.

You've got to play through a few rounds though. Get used to the controls and mechanics of all the abilities.
Once you've got a room full of people who have a decent idea of what they're doing (and the one-sided battles stop) it becomes an incredibly fun game.
Unfortunately, I found that I was quickly drawn out of the experience a game or so after it started getting "good" simply because I started to realize how much it just feels like a Battlefield 2 with weaker visuals (imo), weaker controls (aiming, running, button layout), but what it adds to the mix it does very well, and adds a fair amount of strength to the game.
So if you played through the demo for only a round or two, stick it out a few more. Let yourself experience it enough to decide whether or not you can get over the murky controls or not.
